佛羅裡達州立大學化學與生物醫學工程系系主任講座通知

應孫轶斐副教授邀請，佛羅裡達州立大學化學與生物醫學工程系系主任Bruce R. Locke教授将于9月14日來我院訪問，并将于當日下午15:00-17:00在為民樓743做學術報告"Electrical Discharge Plasma with Liquid Water"，歡迎廣大師生參加。

Bruce R. Locke(M’99-SM'08) received the B.S. degree in chemical engineering and environmental and water resources engineering from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, the M.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University of Houston, Houston, TX, and the Ph.D. degree from the North Carolina State University, Raleigh.

He is a Professor with and Chairman of the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering, The Florida State University, Tallahassee. He is also a Distinguished University Research Professor with The Florida State University. He has published over 116 peer-reviewed journal papers. His research interests include the development and analysis of electrical discharge plasma reactors for initiating chemical reactions in air and water pollution control, green chemistry, and disinfection. He also studies networks of chemical reactions coupled with diffusion and convection in bioreactors, tissue engineering, and other bioengineering applications.
